Job cuts at Google. Recession is hitting hard!

It has been announced that there will be up to 40 job cuts at Google after they decided not to pursue further its radio advertising business.

In her blog, product management VP Susan Wojcicki said, "We have decided to exit the broadcast radio business and focus our effort on online streaming audio,".

"We have always accepted that if you take risks, not all of them will pay off,".
 
Halo wars demo is cranking in download numbers

Since the release of halo wars demo last week, The download counter has hit more than 2 million making it the most popular Xbox 360 demo launch.

Halo Wars is due for release in Europe in February and North America in March.

Is your ISP is manipulating BitTorrent traffic?

Most of the ISP recently has resorted to Bit Torrent traffic manipulation using different type of traffic shaping methods (e.g., firewalls, traffic shapers, censors, and redirectors) . Most of the time, they use hardware Deep packet Inspection which tells them if someone is using bit torrent or not and if they are then ISP apply different traffic shaping rules which limits upstream and downstream.
 
Iphone killer on the way from Google!

Internet search engine giant Google is branching out into the mobile phone industry, with a new phone due out in the next two weeks. Codenamed 'Dream' it will be available in America and the UK exclusively through T Mobile. The phone will be will be made my Taiwanese manufacturer HTC and will be the first phone to use Google's Android software.
