Sony While other manufacturers are busy dishing out compact camcorders that has crappy video quality, Sony is busy making the world’s smallest Full HD Camcorder—The Sony HDR-TG1 The Sony HDR-TG1 weighs only ten ounces and has a titanium body with hard coating. This is a stylish compact camera that would give Sanyo’s Xacti HD series a run for its money. The Sony HDR-TG1 is capable of recording 1920 x 1080 full HD videos. However, mind you that it’s only 1080i and not 1080p. The Sony HDR-TG1 is capable of capturing still images at 4 megapixel resolution. It has a 10x optical zoom lens, a 2.7 inch touch panel display, BIONZ image processing engine and face detection technology similar to those found in Sony’s Cyber-shot digital cameras. Expected availability is in May and price is $900 for the Sony HDR-TG1. News Source @ Sony Fangirl
